Hepatitis B Profile

Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver that can be contracted through unprotected sex, using contaminated needles, or being exposed to infected blood from another person. The Hepatitis B virus (HBV) occurs worldwide and causes a wide spectrum of conditions ranging from non-specific symptoms such as anorexia, nausea or malaise to hepatitis with jaundice even causing death.
