Description
The aims of a postcoital test are to determine the number of active spermatozoa in the cervical mucus and to evaluate sperm survival and sperm behaviour some hours after coitus (the reservoir role of mucus). This information may be used to assess the significance of a positive sperm antibody test in the male or female partner.
